After having graduated at the high school in Diekirch, Marc Weydert decided to study engineering in Karlsruhe. “I have always loved maths, informatics and physics”, he says. Compared to natural sciences, engineers have the possibility to apply their knowledge in a practical way. He specialized in electrical engineering and now works in this domain.
He learned from the students’ association ANEIL about the first edition of the “Prix d’excellence”.
“So far, the award hasn’t helped me in my professional career”, says Weydert. “Nevertheless, it was a great recognition which showed that my thesis wasn’t that bad”, he laughs. He invested the prize in his hobby and bought a new racing bike.
