Alexandre Hoffmann has always been fascinated by engineering. Accordingly, the choice of his studies fell on electrical engineering: "In particular, I appreciated the fact that one gets a large understanding of objects dealt with every day - such as a microwave or a computer.” After graduating from high school in the capital's Lycée Michel Rodange Alexandre Hoffmann studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich and the Télécom ParisTech in Paris. Currently, in addition to his work as a patent engineer at a law firm in Munich, he is taking studies to become a patent attorney. Hoffmann finds this job very exciting, because it allows him to combine legal with technical aspects. He learned from the students' association ANEIL about the "Prix d'Excellence": "It was a great honour to win this award, also it's a great recognition when one’s thesis is rewarded with such an award", he says. He set the reward aside and spent it subsequently on his education.
